It all started when……

Erkunden Owner, Sean Burcham wanted to create something from his passion for the outdoors and technical training as a Mechanical Engineer. Sean started Erkunden out of his garage in Tucson, AZ, creating quality hammocks for friends and family to enjoy.

Over time, the word spread of what Sean was doing and Erkunden was founded. Each product is created with time and care to ensure satisfaction.

In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his daughter, teaching her all about the critters that can be found in the Sonoran Desert. Even their dog Sparky tags along too!
